I have so much star metal at this point its becoming a. I find at one meteorite there every time theres a shower. Run all along the ridge, checking above and below you on the cliff faces, as well as around the large open areas with black ice spawns. Look, I want to thankyou ALL very much for coming foward and offering helpful and constructive solutions to this problem. Go to Stargazers Crest and run up the ridge by the coal spawns just to the NE of the map icon. So to anyone else, maybe park your character in one place then watch a dvd in the background. But for the good of any others, the bar (for us) was set at around the 1.5 hrs mark. But I cant say for absolute certain if it was this long previously. Then finally, a marvel to behold! I know we stood there for VERY long periods of time before. Only way Ive found to do it in single player. You can wait around 5-10 minutes like this until you see the meteor storm crash by, then use slomo 1 to get it back to normal speed and go harvest. Otherwise, using the Slomo 1000 command will speed time up a ton. Put it this way, I stood her character on one of the large statues, went to the gym and came back after a little over an hour, then ate dinner. You can get star metal ore from killing frost giants, if youre still stuck. It took well over an hour and a half of real time. Later on in the evening, we re-tried and method, as cheating was deemed the absolute last resort for her, but still on the table. Success friends…SUCCESS!! Of all the odd timing in the world, today, almost a year after she first started her character, her first meteor! (Trust it to finally work after I stir-up a fuss! ) At first she spent the morning killing Silent Leigon skeletons (thanks I forgot they do drop them occasionally ), but to no avail. Ok so my question to the community is, is there anything I can try to ‘encourage’ the meteors to spawn? Got a trick of the trade? Know of any unintended prerequisites? I am happy to try any ideas out. She now has three T3 shrines, but cant make any of their top end weapons, as they require Star Metal. The strange thing is that I still seem to get a good amount of them, and were on the same ps4. We have both spent days, even weeks of real world time roaming and waiting around in the Western half of the Frozen North, however still nothing. Unfortunately, we have still not seen even a so much as a single Star Metal meteor appear on her game in that entire time. My poor parner has now been playing the game, on and off, since it first launched back in May. We have both spent days, even weeks of real world time taking turns roaming and waiting around in the Western half of th…īut either way, here is the gist of it and what I am asking for help with. My poor partner is level 60, and has now been playing the game, on and off, since it first launched back in May. Im sorry to say this, but it looks like this issue is still persisting.
